End of School

I have now completed all my formal class work for my bachelor’s degree. I still need to earn my multi-engine pilots license before graduating, though. Not having class has helped get me caught up on life.

My free time has allowed me to focus on my web design project for the Newbold-White House (a historic site in Hertford, NC). I am still playing with a background (if anyone has a favorite site outside of this one, please share). I am working with a Wiki, and have really enjoyed the project.

Another projected I have just finished is an addition to the paper, "Global Politics and Drug Trafficking". This paper served a dual purpose; it was used in my International Politics and my Foreign Policy. It underwent revision - though minimal - to meet the criteria of my Foreign Policy paper. The additions are now reflected in this online version and highlighted in red.

My job tutoring has also allowed me to re-fresh my skill in astronomy. This was punctuated by the discovery that not only is an earth-based "solar system" (geocentric system) not accepted by convention, but outright decried by scientists. This has led to a project to compare and contrast the geocentric system to the sun-based, heliocentric system. Such exploration has launch my second blog PtAstro.blospot.com. My perspective considers the difference semantics: neither right nor wrong, just a perspective.

Enjoy reading,
